The Grange Guide to Wessex

While hotel receptions usually house a rack of leaflets describing places to visit, ours is different, our reception is the home of a unique tourist information guide:  The Grange Guide to Wessex.

The Grange Guide to Wessex

The guide allows guests to make informed decisions about what to do and where to go during their stay in Wessex. The owners of the hotel, Ken and Karenza Mathews, spent an entire year visiting every attraction and compiling the guide. It is one of a kind; an independent and un-biased look at everything the area of Wessex has to offer visitors.

Where to start?

We have broken this very big subject into smaller categories which enables guests to find information about subjects and destinations that might interest them: For the Family, Activites, Farming, Houses and Gardens, Religion, Towns and Villages, Transport and Industry, Warfare, and finally The Grange and surrounding area!

A Sneak Preview...

While The Grange Guide to Wessex will give you detailed information, we have compiled a more compact list of our favourite attractions for the website. The destinations are broken down into categories to help you easily find what might interest you.
