We had an AA hotel inspector stay at the hotel last night. After enjoying a delicious dinner, and a good night's sleep, this morning he told us who he was! He was very impressed with the standard of the food and has awarded the restaurant a second rosette. Two rosettes are awarded to 'Excellent restaurants that aim for and achieve higher standards and better consistency. A greater precision is apparent in the cooking, and there will be obvious attention to the selection of quality ingredients.' A hearty congratulations to Head Chef, Nick Holt and all of his team in the kitchen; very well deserved.
